SB19 is known for hype and ballads songs. It's like they don't do anything at half speed. Because they always put their hearts and soul into their music, their songs always evoke extreme emotions, which we, as fans, have always loved. Although, there's a couple of things that A'tin have always wanted. It's for them to release a sweet love song or an RNB. For a long time, they've made their fans cry and jump to party, but what many waited was to hear them serenade us and make us fall in fall. Last year, they finally fulfilled that dream.

Everybody was surely taken by surprise when they finally released the complete list of their Pagtatag! EP. They didn't just give us iconic hype songs. They gave us a love song, a sad ballad, and a sexy RNB. If songs are food, their last EP is a complete menu. We're done talking about the viral hit song, Gento, so let's talk about the song that played right into the playful mind of many, I Want You.

Pablo being the mind behind almost all of SB19's songs, we knew that as long as they're all together, releasing songs, we will always get beautiful masterpieces, but when they released I Want You, it still came as a surprise. Out of all the sexy RNBs out there, this is one of the few that was written so elegantly yet thought provoking. The words didn't have to be dirty or callous to send a message. This is what you get when the song was written by a genius poet. Art can be laid out in a series of sentences to tell a story and invite the listeners to use their imagination.

You know what's funny? Pablo is one of those guys who are always uncomfortable to being sexy or cute. He would always cringe every time their doing cutesy things in front of the camera. It even took him years before he got used to doing heart signs in public, and then this.

As someone who loves poetry and artistically written lyrics, I've always enjoyed SB19 music ever since I found them. I Want You is no exception. It tickles my mind and awaken my imagination as a writer, as I'm sure many others would agree. This is the effect of Pablo's writing and SB19's way to delivering theirs songs. They can all sing the dirtiest, sexiest songs and still sound elegant and fine as a wine. I often wonder how they could maintain such aura around them.

This part of the song is gives a feeling when you're doing it and feeling euphoric. The talks you do when you're overpowered by lust and unyielding urge of wanting more. Do you remember the time when you're with somebody you love or crave so much and your body was on fire? That is the feeling this part gives. It makes you imagine something that would wake that sleeping emotion that you may have been repressing for so long.

Yet this song is not just sexy song. It's about love and its effect on you. Sex is great regardless as long as you want, but doing it with someone you love so much is so much better. Most times, a person would profess his or her true feelings at the height of it, just like when a person is drunk. It is believed that a drunk person is an honest person due to their inhibitions being down. For those who've experienced it, such feeling is beautiful and perhaps once in a lifetime.
