Love Goes

Love Goes is one of the most underrated songs of SB19. From the rhythm to the beat, and the song's message, it was another masterpiece. What's even more interesting is that despite the upbeat rhythm of the song, it hides a heartbreaking message. Well, what can we expect from an SB19 song?

If you listen to the lyrics, you will realize that the song was all about regret. It's about the never-ending frustration of knowing that you let someone who you love go. One would ask, just how far should you go in the name of love? Just how long should you have to hold on? For some, there's no end. People who love with all their hearts don't know or won't entertain the idea of letting go. For them, it's like taking away their ability to breathe.

It is also true that when you lose a person you love with all your heart, it feels like losing a part of you, something that you will never take back again. This is perhaps the reason many of us would stay in a relationship even if it destroys them. The song also sends a plea to the person to come back and take him back. Many of us have been through such a situation, others are probably still caged in one. When you give your heart to someone, you can swallow your pride and beg for them not to leave.

Love Goes perfectly captured both the painful side of falling in love, the desperation of holding on, and the pain of letting go. There is never an easy way of dealing with heartbreaks, and the only thing we can do is to hope that one day, everything will be alright. But going back to the song, for me, Love Goes is the anthem for people caught in between. Those who already know that it was pointless to keep holding on and still there, in the same place as they were before, hoping for a miracle.
