Aug. 27, 2024, is now marked as a historical date in the PPOP Community, as well as the career of SB19 and its members. As Billboard introduced its new chapter in South Korea, SB19 became a face Filipinos would be proud of. Being one of the only two PPOP groups invited, MAHALIMA proved why they were dubbed the PPOP Kings. It was a beautiful day that deserves to be celebrated and remembered. After all the struggles and hardships, these five amazingly talented gentlemen are now reaping what they sow.

As the Kings of Firsts, SB19 again proved why they are the standard and benchmark of Philippine POP. Being invited to South Korea to represent the country is already a significant recognition, but it didn't stop there. Our talented guys were reportedly the last to perform, which is a huge honor in Korean culture. Numerous Korean articles popped up mentioning SB19 and not just one branch of Billboard highlighted them. A'tin was overjoyed because of the recognition and respect that our five received overseas.

These are some Korean articles that featured and highlighted our Kings, an honor they truly and wholeheartedly deserve. Slowly, they are achieving their dreams, not just for themselves but for the entire Philippine music industry. What sets them apart is the fact that they never forget to include their fans and God in their speeches. They always look back to their main source of inspiration and strength to keep going despite all the struggles. It is one of the millions of reasons why A'tin loves, adores, and supports them tirelessly.

One of the things we enthusiastically awaited was their performance. Everyone knew they would kill it, there's no doubt about that, but we wanted to know what version of their most viral song they would perform. This is one of the perks when artists create their own songs. They can play with it however they want. They can change the arrangement, and add and remove any part without jeopardizing the beauty of the song.

SB19 still has a long way to go, but they are on the right path. Now having 1z Entertainment as their career home, they are truly ready and able to take on the world. As good and talented people surround them, these five men are well-equipped not just for themselves but also to help other aspiring talents who are dreaming of becoming known artists. They have each other and the people around them who are as dedicated and hardworking as them, and that's what's most important.

Our PPOP Kings already brought so much recognition to the country, making foreigners more interested in our people and culture, and they are not yet done. There's certainly a lot more in store for all of us, and all we can do is wait and watch out because they will not stop.
