"Happy people don't hate, and people who walk around hating aren't happy" — Karen Salmansohn
In this time and age, it's easy to fake happiness. Just a few clicks, quick smiles, and viola! People would think that you're the happiest person in the world. But that's not really true. Smiling doesn't really equates to happiness. It's contentment with what you have and still having the drive to achieve more. The pride you feel watching someone achieve greatness and turn their life around, and the inspiration it gives you. A lot of people don't know this because we are too focused on the material things, on the "what's in it for us".
Within the online world, the best way to get attention is to either act like you're the wealthiest person in the world, or the stupidest. People who don't have anything would resort to becoming trolls and haters of people who are doing so much better than them. What's funny is social media users are so into hate trains, gossips, and trolling that they would waste their time engaging in such negativity. One might say: "oh, I'm a troll because I'm bored." but the truth is, no happy person would waste their time in such nonsense.
Happy people look for something to make them even more happy. They would spend their time with the things that matters to them. When one feels truly contented in life, a quiet time sitting in the front porch while reading a good book is enough. A tea in the balcony while watching the blue sky makes them smile. In fact, happy people spend less time in social media unless they need or want to be online. Hatred is for those who feel inadequate in their daily lives. Those who are constantly rejected, neglected, and left behind. They are the ones who don't matter to the people around them.
So if you encounter a person full of hate, don't mirror their energy. You should empathize with them. Their hearts are full of heartache and despair.
So true! Haters/trolls have no happiness within themselves.
